Multiple Dental Implants in Turkey
Once more than one tooth is missing, the question stops being about a single gap and becomes about how the remaining teeth share the work. Implants can be placed in each gap, or fewer implants can support bridges that span several teeth, and which approach applies depends on the bone and on the teeth still there.
This page covers the middle ground between one implant and full-arch treatment: several implants, planned together, usually with a bridge or individual crowns on top.
How the plan is decided
Every plan starts with what is still standing. Healthy teeth next to a gap can sometimes support a bridge; where they are loose or heavily filled, they cannot, and implants carry the load instead.
Bone volume comes next. Several adjacent implants need enough width and depth in each position, and where grafting is required the timeline lengthens. A scan is the only way to know, which is why implant planning is not done from photographs alone.
- One implant per missing tooth, where the bone allows and the aesthetics demand it.
- Two or three implants supporting a bridge across several [missing teeth](missing-teeth-treatment-turkey).
- Implants combined with crowns on the teeth that can still be saved.
- Grafting or a sinus lift first, where the bone is deficient.

Staging: what happens on which visit
The first visit covers the examination, the scan, any extractions and the implant placement itself, usually with a rest day afterwards. You leave with a temporary solution — a bridge or partial denture — so you are not visibly without teeth.
After three to six months of healing, the second visit fits the final bridges or crowns. Cases needing grafting may need a stage before the implants are placed, which adds time at the start.
Not sure which treatment applies to you? A coordinator will go through it with you.
Costs, and where they move
Multiple-implant cases are priced per implant plus the restoration on top, with grafting and extractions as separate lines. Because the number of implants can change once the scan is seen, expect the written plan on arrival to be the authoritative figure.
It is worth asking what happens if more implants turn out to be necessary at that point: how it is priced, and whether there is time in your trip to place them.
What to expect afterwards
Swelling and soreness for a few days after placement is normal, managed with the medication prescribed. Soft food for the first week, no smoking, and gentle cleaning of the area are the usual instructions.
Long term, implants and the teeth they support need the same care as natural teeth: cleaning between them, regular reviews, and attention to the bite so the load is shared evenly.
Send photographs of where teeth are missing along with any x-rays you hold, and a coordinator will tell you which of these routes is likely. Request a free assessment.
Multiple Dental Implants in Turkey: questions patients ask
Do I need one implant for every missing tooth?
Not always. Where several teeth are missing in a row, two or three implants can support a bridge across the gap. The decision depends on bone and on the load the bridge will carry.
Can I have several implants placed at once?
Usually yes. Multiple implants are normally placed in one appointment, with a rest day afterwards. Longer surgical cases may be split across two appointments.
How long is the whole treatment?
Around four to six months from placement to final teeth, plus any time needed for grafting first. Two trips to Turkey are normal.
Will I be without teeth while the implants heal?
No. A temporary bridge or partial denture is fitted so you can eat and speak normally during healing.
How much do multiple implants cost in Turkey?
Priced per implant plus the bridge or crowns on top, with grafting and extractions listed separately. Guide figures are on our prices page.

How to read this page
SmileOver is a coordination service. We arrange consultations, written treatment plans, airport and clinic transfers, accommodation and aftercare contact for patients travelling from the UK and elsewhere.
Clinical care — diagnosis, treatment planning and the treatment itself — is provided by the independent dental clinic and its registered dentists in Turkey. SmileOver does not practise dentistry and does not decide which treatment you need.
Every page here is general information, not medical advice. Your dentist will assess your own teeth, and treatment varies between patients. No outcome is guaranteed and no treatment is suitable for everyone.
