Smile Makeover in Turkey
A smile makeover is not one treatment. It is a plan that combines several — crowns, veneers, whitening, gum contouring, implants — in an order that makes sense for your teeth.
That planning is the whole value. Without it, makeovers become a set of unrelated procedures sold one after another. This page explains how we plan a makeover, what can realistically be changed, and what to be careful about.

What a smile makeover involves
A makeover starts with the teeth you already have: their health, their position and how they bite together. From there, the plan might include whitening for colour, veneers or crowns for shape and shade, composite bonding for small corrections, gum contouring where the gum line is uneven, or implants where teeth are missing.
Some of it can be done in a single trip to Marmaris. Some of it should not be. Orthodontics, healing after extractions and implant integration all take months, and rushing them produces a result that looks good for a year and then fails.
The honest limit of any makeover is the foundation. Teeth with gum disease or heavy wear need treatment before appearance is addressed, and some changes people ask for are not achievable or advisable in anyone's hands.
Who a smile makeover may suit
- Several things are bothering you at once: colour, chips, gaps and worn edges
- Your teeth and gums are fundamentally healthy, or can be made so
- You want one plan rather than a series of decisions made one tooth at a time
- You are willing to be assessed and told which parts are realistic and which are not
- You can travel for the appointments the plan actually needs
Worth knowing first: A makeover is not the right route when the underlying problem is untreated disease, when the teeth could be improved more conservatively with whitening or orthodontics, or when the expectation is a specific celebrity smile rather than an improved version of your own.
What patients usually gain
- One coordinated plan instead of separate procedures with no overall design
- Colour, shape and symmetry addressed together, so the result looks consistent
- A treatment sequence that protects healthy tooth structure where possible
- Materials made in our own laboratory, so adjustments are made while you are still with us
- A written plan setting out the ordering of each stage, so you know what happens and when
Risks and honest considerations
- Every restoration removes some tooth structure, and that is permanent.
- A makeover that ignores the bite can look right and function badly. Overbuilt front teeth can cause discomfort and fracture.
- Where implants, extractions or gum treatment are involved, the timeline stretches and cannot be compressed.
- Results are limited by the teeth and bone you have. No clinician can promise a specific appearance.
- Long-term maintenance — cleaning, check-ups and a night guard where needed — is what keeps the work in good condition.
No treatment is risk-free and no result can be guaranteed. Your dentist will go through what applies to you at your assessment.
How a SmileOver makeover is planned
- 1
Free consultation and photographs
You send photographs and tell us what you would like to change. This gives an initial view of what may be possible and what needs to be assessed in person.
- 2
Assessment and records
In Marmaris, your dentist examines the teeth and gums, takes x-rays or a scan and looks at your bite. Health comes before appearance, always.
- 3
Written treatment plan
You receive a plan naming each treatment, the teeth involved, the materials, the number of visits, the sequence and the total cost. You agree it before work starts.
- 4
Design and try-in
Shade, shape and length are designed and tried in, so you can see what is being proposed before anything permanent is made.
- 5
Treatment and fitting
The agreed work is carried out, usually across two to three appointments, with laboratory work done alongside the clinic.
- 6
Review and aftercare
A review before you fly home, written cleaning guidance and remote support once you are back in the UK. Longer plans include a second visit.
Before, during, after and beyond
Before treatment
Photographs, any x-rays and an honest list of what bothers you are the best starting point. Tell us about grinding, gum problems, previous work abroad and any treatment you have been advised against.
If your plan involves more than one stage, we will tell you before you book which parts happen on which trip, rather than bundling everything into a week that cannot carry it.
During treatment
Most of the work is carried out under local anaesthetic across two to three appointments, with the try-in stage in between so adjustments happen before final bonding.
Your coordinator keeps the schedule moving — appointments, transfers and translation — so your days are arranged around the clinical work rather than the other way round.
Aftercare
You leave with written instructions for the specific work you have had, a review appointment where the plan allows, and remote support afterwards. Long-term care is straightforward: clean carefully, avoid very hard foods and keep your reviews.
If something feels wrong — a high bite, a sore gum, a loose restoration — tell your coordinator early. Most issues are simple to correct when they are caught quickly.
Recovery at a glance
Downtime depends on what was done. Crowns and veneers usually settle within a day or two, with mild sensitivity common.
Where implants or extractions are part of the plan, recovery is longer and the timetable is built around it. We will tell you plainly what to expect before you book.
What it costs and what is included
A makeover is priced as a complete plan, because the cost depends entirely on which treatments are combined. Our published packages — from £3,199 for 20 zirconia crowns, or £7,899 for implant and crown work — give you a sense of the scale. Prices are starting prices and subject to individual assessment; your written quote follows the consultation.

Smile Makeover: common questions
How much does a smile makeover cost in Turkey?
It depends on what is included. A makeover built around crowns may sit near our crown package prices, while one involving implants costs substantially more. You will receive an itemised written plan rather than a single figure, so you can see what each part costs.
Can a smile makeover be done in one trip?
Often, when the plan is made of crowns, veneers, whitening and gum contouring. Where implants, extractions or orthodontics are involved, a second trip or a longer timeline is necessary, and compressing it is not in your interest.
Will it look natural?
That is the aim, and it comes from shade, size and proportion chosen against your face. We show you the design at the try-in stage, because natural-looking work is a conversation rather than a fixed recipe. We cannot promise an exact appearance.
Do I need healthy teeth first?
Yes. Decay and gum disease are treated before cosmetic work, and any tooth that is structurally weak may need a crown rather than a veneer. Skipping that step is how makeovers fail later.
How do I get a personalised treatment plan?
Start with the free consultation, send photographs and tell us what you would like to change. A coordinator will come back with what is likely to be involved and the questions your dentist will need answered at the assessment.
