Smile Makeovers in Turkey
A smile makeover is not one treatment. It is a plan that combines treatments — crowns, veneers, whitening, bonding, sometimes implants or gum contouring — to change how the visible teeth look as a set rather than tooth by tooth.
Because it is a planning exercise rather than a product, the quality of the outcome depends on what happens before the treatment: the photographs, the design, the discussion about what suits your face, and an honest account of how much tooth has to be removed.
Which combinations are used for which problems
Most makeovers fall into a few recognisable patterns, and knowing which one your teeth point to helps you read a quote properly.
- Discoloured but sound teeth: whitening, sometimes with a small number of veneers to match.
- Worn or heavily filled teeth: crowns across the visible teeth, occasionally with bite rebuilding.
- Chipped or uneven front teeth: [composite bonding](composite-bonding-turkey) or veneers on the teeth that show.
- Missing or failing teeth: implants, then crowns or a bridge over them.
- A short or uneven gum line: gum contouring alongside the restorative work.

What planning should include
A makeover plan should start with what you want from it and end with a written description of what will be done to each tooth, in which material. In between there should be photographs, a discussion about tooth shape and shade, and a clear statement of how much tooth will be removed.
Where a plan proposes treating twenty teeth, ask what the alternative would be. Sometimes the honest answer is that fewer teeth need work; sometimes the wear is general and the full set is justified. Either way it should be explained, not assumed.
Not sure which treatment applies to you? A coordinator will go through it with you.
Costs, staging and expectations
Makeovers are priced as the sum of their parts, so two patients can be quoted very different figures for what sounds like the same thing. Ask for a line-by-line plan and a note of exclusions — temporary restorations, extractions, grafting and additional nights are the usual ones.
No clinic can promise a particular result. What can be promised is a process: you see the plan, you see a preview or try-in where the treatment allows, and you agree before anything is fixed permanently.
How the trip is arranged
Makeovers usually need one trip of five to ten days, depending on the mix of treatments and whether anything surgical is included. Longer cases can be split across two visits, which spreads the cost and the time away from work.
Tell your coordinator what you want to change, how long you can travel for, and what your budget is. That information shapes a realistic plan far better than a wish-list of treatments. Book a free assessment or compare the treatment options first.
Smile Makeovers in Turkey: questions patients ask
What does a smile makeover involve?
It is a set of treatments planned together — commonly crowns, veneers, bonding, whitening, and implants where teeth are missing — chosen to fit your teeth, bite and face rather than a template.
How many days do I need in Turkey for a makeover?
Usually five to ten days. Cases involving implant surgery are staged across two visits, because the implants need to heal first.
Is a full set of crowns always needed?
No. Sometimes it is justified by widespread wear or heavy filling; sometimes a smaller number of teeth, or whitening and bonding, would give a better long-term result. Ask which is true for you.
Can I see the result before it is permanent?
Where the treatment allows, yes — through a digital preview, a try-in or a temporary restoration. Ask how it works for the specific plan proposed.
Will it look natural?
That depends on the planning, the laboratory and the shade you choose. Very bright, uniform teeth often look less natural than a shade matched to your skin tone, and we will say so at the planning stage.

How to read this page
SmileOver is a coordination service. We arrange consultations, written treatment plans, airport and clinic transfers, accommodation and aftercare contact for patients travelling from the UK and elsewhere.
Clinical care — diagnosis, treatment planning and the treatment itself — is provided by the independent dental clinic and its registered dentists in Turkey. SmileOver does not practise dentistry and does not decide which treatment you need.
Every page here is general information, not medical advice. Your dentist will assess your own teeth, and treatment varies between patients. No outcome is guaranteed and no treatment is suitable for everyone.
